What is PriceDrop.me?
PriceDrop.me is an automated price-drop tracker covering Amazon US and Canada. Our system continuously monitors prices across thousands of Amazon products and surfaces the ones with genuine, meaningful discounts — not inflated "was" prices, not limited-time tricks, just real drops you can act on today.
We focus on two markets — amazon.com for US shoppers and amazon.ca for Canadian shoppers — with separate deal feeds so each visitor sees prices and affiliate links for the right storefront. The list updates twice daily so you're always seeing current data, not yesterday's deals that have already expired.
How we find deals
Our pipeline starts with price tracking. We monitor Amazon product prices on a regular automated schedule, building a history for each item. When a product's current price falls meaningfully below its recent range, it qualifies as a deal candidate.
We cross-reference each candidate against its price history — a product that has been at the same "sale" price for months is not a deal, and we filter it out. Only items with a verifiable, recent drop make it into the feed. Prices are checked and refreshed twice daily, so deals that have expired or reverted to full price are removed automatically.
How deals are ranked
Raw discount percentage alone is a poor ranking signal — a 70% markdown on a one-star product with three reviews is not a great deal. We combine three factors into a single score we call the BoostFactor:
Discount depth — how far the current price has fallen from its recent high. Deeper cuts score higher.
Product rating — the average star rating on Amazon. Well-reviewed products score higher than poorly-reviewed ones at the same discount.
Review volume — the number of customer reviews. A rating based on thousands of real buyers is more trustworthy than one based on a handful, and we weight it accordingly.
The result is a feed where the top deals are genuinely good buys, not just the deepest-discounted obscurities.
Honesty policy
Prices shown on PriceDrop.me are verified at the time the drop is detected. Amazon prices are dynamic and can change at any moment — by the time you click through, the price may differ from what we show. We always recommend confirming the final price on the Amazon product page before completing your purchase.
